Hole 14 is built to make you adjust your strategy off the tee and depending on the tee boxes and wind, you'll have to do just that. The tree guarding the green is the main obstacle although the water directly in front of the green is obviously the main way to get burned playing this hole. You can hit a wood left or right of the tree to reach the green, but this shot is dangerous because of the reasons above. While some looks will be easier than others, play conservative when going for the green. This shot is very manageable in a lot of cases, but it can be deadly if you're not on your game. If you're going to miss, miss long. Don't even come close to hitting the tree because it will likely lead to a water ball. If the look is really tough, put your ball in the fairway and play for birdie.
