Does this hole look like a mitten or is just me? Actually, many of you might think this hole is giving you the finger the way it can kill the scorecard. Yes the 11th is drivable but you have to ask yourself if it's worth trying. The small gap between the rock "thumb" and the rest of the structure can be hit through, and the green can be landed. That's the good news. The bad news is that it can be really hard, especially with tough winds and tee boxes. It'll take a precise 3 or 5-wood to land the green and there's no guarantee that you'll stay on or make the putt even if you make it through. If you have any doubts about this shot, there's nothing wrong with going around and playing for birdie. Trying to drive the green here and missing could result in a par or worse depending on where the rocks may send your ball. Use judgment and proceed with caution. This could be a round killer.
