Hopefully by now you've holed out the first two holes. If that's the case then you have should have a chance at nailing three in a row. The 3rd hole on Monument is the first par-3 on the course and once again there are no canyons or well-placed water hazards to be seen. Depending on the tee box and pin placement, you'll likely have the option to go at the pin without spin. Backspin can also work, and should send your ball shooting back towards the pin. Both should give you a chance to put your ball really close, and this is an excellent spot to be aggressive. The only place you don't want to end up is short of the green. Even if you end up over the green by a few feet, you'll should be able to putt it out of the very light cut of rough - more reason to be aggressive. Knock your shot stiff, make the putt, and let's move on. Now, however, the easiest holes are out of the way.
