Southern's final par-5 is somewhat simple in design, but what it lacks in terms of style it gains in difficulty. Use the sand traps in the center of the fairway as your target. Don't aim for them, but try and get your drive just right of the three bunkers out as far as you can. Here's where this hole gets tough. While you are guaranteed to have a shot into the green this won't be easy. The green is raised up in front and slopes down. Directly behind it is.. you guessed it, water! Add in some brutal winds and you are looking at one of the toughest shots in the game. If you are uncomfortable with your position, feel free to layup. If you do, try and get yourself close to the green so you have an easy chip on. This is a delicate hole that can be dangerous, but should be manageable with the right strategy. Birdie should be semi-easy to come by while an eagle will be well deserved.
