MOVES TO MEMPHIS
 FedExForum New Site for
Southern Regional Championship
Due to a last-minute conflict with the Grand Casino in Tunica, Mississippi,
the Golden Tee Southern Open - the 3rd stop on the Golden Tee LIVE Regional
Championship tour - will now be held at the world-famous FedExForum on
historic Beale Street in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
Originally a 2-day event - the tournament will now be consolidated into a
single day - Saturday, October 21. No events will be eliminated and players
can expect a full day of Golden Tee action starting with the Team USA
Shootout at 11:00 a.m.
"We regret having to move the tournament at this late hour," said Scott
Morrison, vice president of marketing at Incredible Technologies. "But the
FedExForum is a world-class facility and its location on Beale Street will
allow our players to experience the rollin' and raucous good times that come
with great food, music, drink and Golden Tee. This is definitely a step-up
from a conference room at a convention center."
Players will not have to adjust airline or hotel arrangements. "Qualifiers
can still enjoy what the casino has to offer all day Friday," Morrison said.
"On Saturday motor coaches will leave the Grand Casino and return from the
FedExForum on a regular basis. It's only a half-hour drive between the
facilities, and we'll drive everyone back and forth in comfort allowing for
a carefree weekend."
Memphis is the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock n' roll, and
with over 25 clubs to choose from Beale Street has an entertainment option
for everyone. Add in art galleries, t-shirts, and eclectic shops, and Beale
St. has it all. It's the perfect backdrop for the most popular bar game in
the world!

Schedule of Events
8:00 a.m. - First buses leave for FedExForum,
8:30 a.m. - Registration opens for all events / games available for play
11:00 a.m. - Team USA Shootout starts
1:00 p.m. - Registration closes: All players must register by this time
2:00 p.m. - Pub Championship begins
5:00 p.m. - Main Event begins
11:00 p.m. - Buses start return to Grand Casino
2:00 a.m. - Last bus leaves for Grand Casino
Hotel Information
For those players already booked at the Grand Casino Resort in Tunica a free
motor coach service will be provided for transportation to and from the
FedExForum on Beale St. Services will run throughout the day on Saturday,
October 21. Details will be available soon.
Travel & Parking
For those who choose to drive instead of taking the complimentary bus
service, the FedExForum is located in downtown Memphis at the heart of the
city's Beale Street Entertainment District. The arena is easily accessible
to visitors from exits off I-40, I-55 and Midtown I-240 as well as Poplar
Avenue and other east-west arteries.
Parking will be available for the entire day at an expense of $5 per car.
